Description

Nike is hiring a Materials Planner to develop and manage sport-level material forecasts, translate finished-goods demand into supply requirements, monitor plan health, establish service levels and lead-time strategies, and partner with sourcing, supplier management, manufacturing, and analytics teams. The role supports seasonal and longer-range footwear materials planning, identifies forecast gaps and delivery risks, and leads seasonal readiness and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field; alternative education, experience, and training combinations may be accepted.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 6 years of directly relevant work experience.
Knowledge of MRP, demand translation, production planning, capacity management, manufacturing practices, lead-time strategies, and corrective-action processes.
Experience using segmentation, service levels, risk assessment, analytics, and planning tools to prioritize work, evaluate plan health, and improve business performance.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with manufacturing processes, cross-cultural virtual teams, materials segmentation, Critical Materials Tracking, o9 Materials Forecast, or seasonal readiness processes.
