Student Transportation of America, Inc. is hiring a full-time Lead Mechanic in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania, reporting to the Shop Manager. The role diagnoses and repairs complex bus systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical and mechanical components, and performs upgrades, modifications, preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, documentation, and road-call repairs. Candidates need at least five years of maintenance experience, three years as a mechanic or technician in transportation, school-bus, automotive, or heavy-equipment environments, air-brake and diagnostic experience, and willingness to obtain a CDL and state inspection license.
