Description
FST Technical Services is hiring a Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a major data center construction project in Atlanta, Georgia. The site-dedicated leadership role manages the mechanical commissioning program through L1–L5, including equipment and documentation verification, installation inspections, startup, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, issue resolution, turnover, and final project delivery. The engineer will lead mechanical commissioning engineers and field staff, coordinate with clients, general contractors, MEP contractors, vendors, controls teams, and other disciplines, and ensure documentation and deliverables support system acceptance. The position requires significant data center commissioning experience, L1–L5 leadership, and L5 testing experience; it is not remote and requires mobilization to Atlanta.
