Description
Assystem is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead and mentor engineering teams and own mechanical and structural design for bespoke handling systems, lifting equipment, and accessories. The role covers design through manufacture, technical documentation, risk assessment, project coordination, supplier liaison, and compliance with machinery safety and LOLER requirements. It requires a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, experience in a highly regulated sector, strong mechanical and structural engineering knowledge, and familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, FEA, piping design, and related standards. The position is restricted to sole UK nationals eligible for SC clearance.
