Description
CRB is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee HVAC and mechanical utilities design and engineering for buildings across project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration. The role manages the mechanical discipline budget, coordinates with architects, engineers, clients, construction teams, subcontractors, vendors and manufacturers, and directs entry-level through senior mechanical staff. Responsibilities include site surveys, load calculations, energy modeling, P&IDs, code evaluations, construction documentation, RFI and submittal review, quality checks, and mentorship. The position requires an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical focus, at least 10 years of experience, professional engineer registration, and advanced HVAC, mechanical utility, piping, and code experience; life sciences or food and beverage experience and Revit and AutoCAD proficiency are preferred.
