Eaton is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and full product development cycle for EDLC supercapacitor modules, cylindrical cells, module packs, and high-voltage rack systems operating up to 1500 VDC. The role owns mechanical architecture, CAD and PLM documentation, materials and manufacturing process selection, prototype and production builds, supplier and manufacturing development, and transfer to mass production. It is based in Pleasanton, California, with up to 15% travel and relocation assistance for qualified United States candidates. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and at least five years of relevant experience; the expected annual salary is $117,000 to $172,000.
