GHD is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer for its Property & Buildings team to lead the design, technical delivery, verification, and commissioning of complex building services projects across New Zealand. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, developing client relationships, supporting project planning and commercial performance, mentoring engineers, and ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards and regulations. Candidates need a relevant tertiary qualification, CPEng status or the ability to obtain it, and at least 10 years of mechanical building services engineering experience in a consulting environment. The role is hybrid, with Auckland preferred and office attendance three days per week.
