Lykos is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer to own advanced mechanical engineering for its pilot line and modular manufacturing units. The role covers hardware architecture, design, procurement, build, commissioning, debugging, automation, robotics, laser processing, tooling, qualification, and team leadership. It requires at least eight years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or precision industrial environments, along with expertise in machining, fixturing, metrology, CAD, and production automation. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires the candidate to be a U.S. person under ITAR.
