Description
The Lead Mechanical Engineer provides technical troubleshooting and mechanical engineering support for chemical manufacturing plant operations and maintenance. The role focuses on maximizing overall equipment effectiveness and safety, leading continuous improvement projects, designing or modifying pumping systems and pressure vessels, managing capital projects from authorization through construction, coordinating contractors and vendors, controlling project costs, and providing monthly after-hours on-call support. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of chemical manufacturing experience are required.
