Description
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead the design and execution of custom industrial control panels, skids, cabinets, generator enclosures, power distribution systems, and integrated mechanical assemblies. The role oversees engineering standards, design reviews, documentation, compliance, project schedules, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship of junior engineers, while partnering with clients and manufacturing teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least eight years of mechanical engineering experience including five years with mission-critical custom enclosures, expertise in commercial or industrial construction, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD 3D; a Professional Engineer license is highly preferred. The position is based in San Antonio, Texas, with a stated base salary of 170,000–200,000 and relocation support.
