Description
Vitamix is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer, Product Engineering to lead engineered changes for new product development and sustaining engineering, including requirement generation, analytical and empirical concept vetting, verification and validation, root-cause analysis, manufacturing integration, and team coaching. The role requires at least seven years of related experience, an ABET-accredited engineering bachelor’s degree, and expertise in CAD, PLM, thermodynamics, fluid and solid mechanics, CAE, DFM/DFA, GD&T, FMEA, and statistical methods. The position is hybrid, office-based, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with up to 10% travel and no direct reports.
