Description
Astrolab is hiring a Lead Structures Engineer to design, develop, test, and operate planetary rovers and related hardware. The role owns high-performance designs for challenging environments, establishes structures design and analysis practices, develops mechanical and thermal platforms, builds engineering tools, manages design-program progress, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a STEM bachelor’s degree, at least four years of space-company design experience, and experience with space design principles, finite element analysis, test design and execution, hardware development, and leading design programs.
