L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Mechanical Engineer for its Rochester JROC Facility. The role leads large mechanical projects, including multimillion-dollar RFI and RFQ projects, and manages project scheduling, financials, presentations, vendor oversight, and mechanical system architecture. Responsibilities include designing and supporting ground-based satellite communication equipment, developing detailed designs and control drawings, evaluating tolerances and manufacturability, and leading cross-functional engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, along with at least 9 years of relevant experience, and offers a New York State salary range of $106,000 to $197,000.
