May Mobility is hiring a Lead ML Engineer to architect and deploy production-grade semantic and topological mapping and localization systems for autonomous vehicles. The role leads research, neural architecture development, data strategies, evaluation, deployment, and cross-functional collaboration, while mentoring engineers and driving improvements in model performance and system reliability. Candidates need a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a relevant field, at least 7 years of industry experience developing and deploying mapping or computer vision models, and expertise in computer vision, HD maps, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Python or C++, and distributed training.
