Description
The Senior Building Engineer leads preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for commercial building systems. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, fire and life safety, utilities, grounds, and building maintenance, while supervising maintenance personnel, providing technical guidance, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, at least five years of commercial building maintenance or building engineering experience, and at least two years leading maintenance teams or serving in a senior building engineer capacity are required; technical certifications or an associate degree are preferred.
