Description
The Lead Mobile Phlebotomist supports the Phlebotomy Supervisor by overseeing mobile phlebotomy staff, monitoring compliance with policies and procedures, and coordinating routes to client facilities such as nursing homes. The role involves driving to patient sites, collecting and processing specimens, maintaining infection-control and HIPAA/PHI standards, communicating with dispatch, training new phlebotomists, and maintaining required certifications and vehicle requirements. Applicants need at least one year of phlebotomy experience, current licensure where required, medical terminology knowledge, venipuncture proficiency, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a suitable vehicle.
