Arcturus is hiring a Lead Nanomaterials Engineer in Los Angeles, California, to report directly to the CEO and establish the company’s carbon nanomaterials strategy. The role owns the nanomaterials R&D roadmap, integration of carbon nanomaterials into aluminum and copper, dispersion and interface engineering, characterization, reliability testing, accelerated aging, and intellectual property strategy, while helping build a small scientific team. Candidates need a PhD or MS in a relevant field, at least 8 years of applied research leadership, and deep expertise in carbon nanomaterials and process-structure-property relationships; experience with carbon-metal composites, graphene, or startup environments is preferred. The position offers cash compensation, equity, scientific ownership, and relocation support.
