Description

The Lead Network Engineer leads the architecture, implementation, monitoring, automation, and modernization of enterprise voice and data communications systems across on-premise, cloud, data center, WAN, and campus environments. The role focuses on network programmability, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and GitOps workflows, software-defined networking, cloud networking, and security, while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to internal clients and cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or four years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least seven years of progressive network engineering experience in a large-scale, complex environment.
Extensive enterprise network systems and programming experience, including hands-on expertise in multiple listed networking domains.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for network infrastructure.
Familiarity with modern network programmability frameworks and policy-driven network segmentation.
Familiarity with virtualization and container networking, including VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, and cloud VPC/VNet design.
