Brown University is hiring a full-time Lead Network Engineer for its Office of Information Technology. The role plans, designs, implements, and maintains wired, wireless, data center, internet, and cloud networks; supports DNS, DHCP, load balancing, authentication, VPN, WiFi, and monitoring; leads service restoration and outage response; develops network projects and technology roadmaps; and mentors junior staff. The position requires 7+ years of enterprise or campus network experience, including at least 5 years focused on complex wireless networks, along with scripting, project management, and on-call capabilities. It is a hybrid position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
