Description
Hunter Communications is hiring an experienced Lead Network Engineer to perform hands-on POP/cabinet and data center upgrades or replacements involving routing, switching, environmental, and power systems. The role manages projects with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshoots networks across OSI levels 1–7, manages BGP and connected hardware, configures switches, routers, and firewalls, supports Juniper core network design and maintenance, and provides Tier 3 NOC support. The position requires at least 10 years of related experience, carrier-grade or ISP experience, and expertise with MPLS, L2VPNs, L3VPNs, OSPF, BGP, QoS, and optical networking or DWDM.
