Description
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs neurodiagnostic studies such as EEG recordings, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, long-term monitoring, Wada studies, intra-operative monitoring, brain mapping, and ambulatory EEG monitoring. The role also handles billing, report faxing, database archiving, and database management, and may assist in training technical personnel. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an electro-neurodiagnostic technology program or related associate degree or equivalent education and experience, BLS certification, and preferably hospital experience and neurodiagnostic registration.
