Relativity Space is hiring a Lead of Avionics Battery Test Engineering to build and lead the team responsible for high-voltage battery testing across performance, electrical, abuse, and destructive programs at pack and cell levels. The role will establish test strategy, laboratory and test infrastructure, safety and procedural standards, data systems, and a team of test engineers and cell-science experts, while overseeing battery bring-up, testing, failure analysis, and feedback to design teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, extensive battery testing and energetics experience, hands-on laboratory instrumentation expertise, and at least three years leading test engineering teams. The hiring range is $151,000 to $227,000 USD.
