Description
The Lead Operations Engineer will ensure the operational reliability and performance of cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on Azure Cloud Services. Responsibilities include developing operational, strategic, and tactical solutions; establishing infrastructure best practices; prioritizing and administering IT infrastructure through automation; coordinating with security, architects, developers, and service providers; optimizing processes; supporting incidents; and participating in projects and audits. The role requires a computer science or comparable degree with an MS Azure focus, virtualization and Azure services experience, knowledge of Azure data services, governance, security, virtual desktops, backup and disaster recovery, IT security and PCI-DSS, ITSM tools, and strong German and English communication skills.
