Description
Biffa is hiring a Lead Operator in Campbeltown, Argyll & Bute, to support the Area Manager in managing a waste facility safely and compliantly. The role leads and supports site operators, oversees waste acceptance, processing, disposal, and PPC-permit compliance, manages permit-to-work authorisation, monitors housekeeping and grounds maintenance, coordinates offtake, and supports environmental compliance. The position requires mobile plant and telehandler operator experience, heavy machinery and weighbridge knowledge, health and safety qualifications, and the ability to perform maintenance and minor repairs.
