Description
Optics11 is hiring a Lead Optical Sensing Development Engineer to own the development and realization of fiber-optic sensing solutions for temperature, pressure, heading, and future sensing capabilities in demanding underwater environments. The role spans product concepts, prototypes, testing, calibration, integration, verification, industrialization, and technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Candidates need a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical field, at least 10 years of industrial experience in fiber-optic sensing or related areas, and at least 4 years leading multidisciplinary design teams. The position requires an AIVD Certificate of No Objection and security screening.
