Description
Klaviyo is hiring a Lead People Technology Engineer to be the first dedicated AI engineer on its People Technology team. The role will design and build AI-powered workflows, copilots, agents, and systems that integrate with HRIS, ATS, and other enterprise platforms; establish responsible AI, security, privacy, governance, and observability standards; and enable People teams to use AI across recruiting, onboarding, performance, and daily work. The position requires 5+ years of engineering or data engineering experience, including 2+ years building AI/ML or LLM-powered systems, along with Python, SQL, APIs, LLM platforms, LangChain, and enterprise SaaS integration experience. The base salary range for U.S. locations is $140,000–$210,000 USD, with possible bonus, equity, sign-on payments, and benefits.
