Jabil is hiring a Lead Photonics System Engineer to support production-scale Co-Packaged-Optics (CPO) manufacturing for server and rack systems in datacenters. The role leads manufacturing line bringup, NPI, yield analysis, root-cause failure analysis, test and debug strategy, quality control, rework flows, yield and throughput dashboards, DFM/FMEA guidance, and technical training for factory product engineers. It requires a relevant four-year bachelor’s degree, at least six years of photonics communication-system product engineering or development experience, manufacturing experience, hands-on electro-optical testbench setup, and the ability to travel up to 70%. The position is based anywhere in the United States, pays $105,100–$189,200, and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
