Description
Smart Working is hiring a Lead PHP & Symfony Software Engineer for a long-term, full-time remote role focused on mission-critical backend systems. The engineer will own features end-to-end, develop and maintain PHP and Symfony code, apply design patterns and test-driven development, maintain automated test coverage, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and document architecture and processes. The role requires at least five years of PHP experience and three years of Symfony experience, with additional experience in testing, static analysis, CI/CD, and mission-critical systems preferred.
