The Foundation is hiring a Lead Platform Engineer to architect, deliver, and evolve complex data and AI platforms supporting foundation and affiliate staff worldwide. The role leads multi-year platform roadmaps, enterprise architecture, security, governance, solution delivery, engineering standards, and cross-functional initiatives while mentoring engineers and advising IT and business leadership. It requires 12+ years of data-platform experience, strong cloud and AI infrastructure expertise, and hands-on experience with technologies including Azure, Terraform, Databricks, Snowflake, and API-driven platforms. The position is based in Seattle or Washington, D.C., offers unrestricted work authorization, and pays $190,100 to $294,700 USD, with higher ranges in those locations.
