TetraScience is hiring a Lead Platform Engineer to architect and evolve shared cloud-native platform services that support 100× growth in data volume and users. The role owns distributed-system primitives for authorization, authentication, metadata, governance, high-throughput event processing, observability, and infrastructure automation, while serving as a technical design authority across engineering and product. The position requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, deep hands-on experience building identity and policy-driven authorization systems, strong TypeScript and Python skills, extensive AWS and infrastructure-as-code expertise, and proficiency in API design, messaging, CI/CD, and distributed observability. The role is remote, offers a salary of $200,000–$270,000 USD, and includes employer-paid benefits, unlimited PTO, 401(k), life insurance, disability coverage, and flexible working arrangements.
