Description
Absa is hiring a Lead Platforms professional to own the strategy, architecture, engineering, operations, resilience, optimisation, modernisation and vendor management of enterprise virtualization platforms across on-premises, hybrid-cloud and modern infrastructure environments. The role leads large-scale virtualization services, automation and platform patterns, incident and risk management, platform performance, financial and commercial planning, and the development of virtualisation and platform engineering teams. It requires 8–10 years of enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering experience, leadership of virtualisation services, knowledge of hypervisors and automation technologies, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
