Description
The Lead Power Electronics Engineer will lead the design, sizing, simulation, testing, validation, and certification of low- and medium-voltage variable-speed drives and VFD converters from concept through execution. Responsibilities include power electronics and converter design, harmonic filtering, hardware and protection circuits, EMC and electro-mechanical design, component and product validation, documentation, prototype testing, manufacturing support, and FAT coordination. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in power electronics or electrical engineering and at least 10 years of industrial drive design and testing experience; MATLAB/Simulink, Pspice, PSCAD, and Ansys experience are preferred.
