Description
SpaceX is hiring a Lead Power Systems Engineer to lead a team supporting the design, operation, material and component selection, procurement, construction, activation, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems, load center panels, and supporting infrastructure. The role also coordinates with electrical utilities, supports testing campaigns, troubleshoots electrical equipment, and improves testing operations at the Rocket Development Facility. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least five years of experience working as an electrical engineer focused on power distribution systems; the role may require extended hours, weekends, shifts, and hands-on work in hazardous environments.
