Description
The Applied Research Manager leads strategic identification, design, execution, and production delivery of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for Oracle. The role partners with science, engineering, product, and business leaders; sets research standards; develops datasets, proofs of concept, models, and solution architectures; guides technical teams through coding, deployment, and operational monitoring; and contributes thought leadership through publications, presentations, patents, and external research collaborations. The role also manages timelines, deliverables, budgets, and cross-functional alignment, and may serve as a subject matter expert for talent strategy and hiring decisions.
