Description
Oracle is hiring a Principal Network Architect to define and lead the architecture of a unified global network intelligence platform. The role combines deep networking, distributed systems, automation, algorithms, and applied AI/ML to build scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and highly available services for data center and WAN network orchestration. Responsibilities include designing distributed control-plane and observability software, developing route-computation and traffic-steering algorithms, correlating network signals, triggering automated responses, analyzing incidents, and maintaining technical documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and network control planes, and strong networking, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
