The role brings up and hardens Oracle Linux on ARM, Intel, and AMD-based embedded platforms; develops secure production images and OS/firmware-update solutions; and establishes technical foundations for scalable robotic and cloud deployments. Responsibilities include extending open-source software, designing platform images, collaborating with silicon and hardware vendors, defining firmware and security standards, mentoring engineers, leading architecture and provisioning initiatives, and improving software testing, observability, and reliability. The role is an IC5 career level and offers a US hiring range of $146,300 to $306,400 per annum.
