Description
The role owns the physical design and manufacturing of a sensor-rich textile beanie wearable, integrating electronics, cameras, microphones, speakers, EEG sensors, a flex PCB, and a battery into a comfortable, durable product. Responsibilities include ID and ME, CAD and rendering, soft-goods integration, comfort and thermal engineering, DfM, tooling, quality, and leading the product design function. The position requires 10+ years of industrial design or mechanical engineering experience, shipped consumer wearable experience, soft-goods integration experience, CAD proficiency, and overseas manufacturing experience. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, equity, 401(k) matching, health insurance, and flexible PTO.
