The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Security to shape product security strategy for Wikipedia and strengthen security culture across the organization and Wikimedia movement. The role directs priorities for security and privacy engineers, drives security features and interventions, communicates with public communities and volunteers, partners on information security posture, and monitors online security, privacy, vulnerability research, and development. Candidates need at least 7 years of product-building experience, including 2 years in security, experience delivering major security initiatives, professional use of AI tools for security analysis and technical work, command-line familiarity, and strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities. The role is remote-first and can be hired in specified United States locations and listed countries.
