Destinus is hiring a Lead Production Engineer in Hengelo to lead production engineering activities for its aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. The role owns manufacturing and assembly processes, provides hands-on technical support, develops production documentation, improves quality and efficiency, supports tooling and equipment implementation, uses production data and KPIs, and mentors production engineers and technicians. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, substantial experience in production or manufacturing engineering within aerospace, defense, automotive, or another complex hardware environment, and strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
