Description
Elgin is hiring a Project Engineering Manager to lead approximately five Project Engineers while simultaneously serving as the lead project engineer on a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects. The role is split between people management, team coordination, process improvement, and hands-on project engineering across development, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energisation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, at least five years of relevant utility-scale project experience, prior engineering-team leadership experience, and strong knowledge of PV, grid connections, project procurement, and Irish and UK design and safety requirements.
