Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Lead Project Professional, functioning as an Assistant Project Manager within its Combat Systems business. The role supports Royal Navy Hybrid Navy initiatives and complex defence programmes involving maritime autonomy, digital command and control, systems integration, technology demonstrators, concept studies, and future capability development. Responsibilities include coordinating project work packages, managing cost, schedule, quality and performance, maintaining plans and risk registers, and collaborating with engineering, commercial, finance, supply chain, customers, and industry partners. The role is hybrid, based primarily in Filton and Broad Oak-Portsmouth, with three days on site and two days working from home, and may involve travel to other BAE Southern sites.
