Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Lead Propulsion Test Engineer at its Stennis Test Center to lead the engineering and testing of the Archimedes liquid rocket engine. The role manages a team of engineers and technicians, develops and executes test procedures, analyzes engine performance and facility data, procures components and propellants, manages vendors and subcontractors, oversees facility scheduling, supports requirements and configuration management, and advocates for test safety. Candidates need at least five years of industry experience, an engineering degree, propulsion-testing experience, and a proven record of leading successful engineering projects; rocket propulsion, cryogenics, high-pressure gas systems, and data-acquisition expertise are preferred.
