The role leads daily QA production, scheduling, sampling, accuracy monitoring, medical coding audits, coding queries, compliance reporting, coder mentoring, continuing education, quality meetings, project launches, and special audits. It requires an accredited medical coding certification such as CCA, CCS, CPC, or CPC-H, at least 6 years of experience (with the posting also listing an 8+ year experience level), knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, MS-DRG/APC, medical terminology, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
