Description
The Residential Advisor supports students in a residential center by supervising daily activities, monitoring hygiene and room assignments, documenting records, maintaining dorm cleanliness and safety, providing informal counseling and life-skills support, facilitating group discussions, and coordinating with families and staff. The role also includes supervising residential advisors, screening and interviewing potential staff, maintaining accountability for people and property, and modeling employability skills. Required qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent education and experience, two years of related experience, one year of supervisory experience, experience working with diverse youth, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
