Description
Mastercard is hiring a Lead Response Technology and Automation Security Engineer to modernize its Security Operations Center incident investigation and response capabilities. The role owns the RESPOND product roadmap, builds and operationalizes SOAR playbooks, AI-augmented workflows, prompt books, Jupyter notebooks, and integrations across SOAR, SIEM, EDR, identity, ticketing, threat intelligence, and AI/LLM platforms. It also develops response tooling, optimizes workflows against measurable outcomes, supports major incidents, and partners with SOC and DFIR teams and product management. The position requires at least five years of security operations, incident response, detection engineering, or security automation experience, hands-on SOAR and AI-augmented SOC experience, strong Python and PowerShell scripting, and familiarity with enterprise security platforms and incident-response fundamentals.
