Datacor is hiring a senior hybrid Lead Scientific Programmer / Software Engineer to develop and improve GoldSim's numerical simulation capabilities. The role owns mathematical and computer-science algorithms, implements them in C++, builds and verifies models, documents numerical methods, translates requirements into technical specifications, supports QA and customers, and explores modern computational approaches such as machine learning. Candidates need a master's or PhD in science or engineering, applied-math and numerical-methods experience, an Earth sciences or civil engineering background, and extensive C++ programming experience.
