Description
The Lead Secondary Design Engineer will lead a geographically diverse team of designers, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams responsible for protection and control schematics and substation equipment. The role plans and oversees basic and detailed design, coordinates engineering documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and site erection, manages design schedules and subcontractor deliverables, resolves technical issues, and ensures compliance with customer and internal requirements. The position requires an electrical or mechanical degree, several years of related engineering experience, project technical management experience, and experience managing externally subcontracted design work packages.
