Klaviyo is hiring a Lead Security Governance & Risk Engineer to own the technology and third-party risk register, lead AI risk governance and ISO 42001 readiness, and build automation that quantifies risk in financial terms. The role partners with Engineering, Product, GTS, Legal, Internal Audit, ARIA, and Finance to translate security policies into operational controls, support risk reporting and remediation, and provide independent second-line oversight. It requires 7+ years of information security, technology risk, cyber risk, or operational risk experience, along with hands-on risk engineering, SQL, Python, API integration, and knowledge of major security and AI frameworks. The base salary range for US locations is $156,000–$234,000 USD, with possible travel of up to 10% and additional compensation benefits.
