Description

NXP is hiring a full-time Regional SIEM Engineer in Bucharest to design, implement, and optimize SIEM solutions across IT, operational technology, and R&D environments. The role focuses on log aggregation and correlation, threat detection, SOC process improvement, automation, integration with security tools, compliance, and security strategy for industrial and embedded systems. Candidates need at least seven years of cybersecurity experience, three years with Crowdstrike NGSIEM, foundational IT and OT security knowledge, and experience leading cybersecurity teams. The position offers a permanent contract, bonus eligibility, vacation days, flexible work hours, and a work-from-home policy.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on SIEM blue teaming and cyber defense
3+ years working with Crowdstrike NGSIEM
Experience securing R&D environments, embedded systems, proprietary technologies, and intellectual property
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, threat intelligence platforms, and security automation
Experience leading cybersecurity professionals and developing operational security teams
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with OT environments and manufacturing systems
Foundational IT and OT security expertise, including ICS, SCADA, and industrial cyber threats
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, and Zero Trust principles
Fundamental cloud security and hybrid security architecture knowledge
At least two certifications from the desired certifications list
