Description

Trimble is hiring a P3 Lead AI SecOps Engineer in Chennai to own the security architecture, resilience, automated compliance, and AI-driven vulnerability remediation for its enterprise Azure infrastructure. The role covers governance across 22,000+ Windows Virtual Machines and 3,000+ Microsoft SQL Servers, third-party patch orchestration, Azure landing-zone security, WAF and Zero Trust, compliance audits, and security automation using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and AI Copilots. The engineer will also mentor a global engineering team and report to the Director of Engineering or Head of Cloud Security.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of experience in cloud security, SRE, or enterprise security operations
Experience operating at 10,000+ endpoint scale
Experience securing Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server ecosystems
Experience with enterprise patch management platforms
Expertise in CVE scoring and vulnerability scanners
Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Terraform
Experience leading and mentoring global engineering teams across multiple regions and time zones
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree
Microsoft AZ-500, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent enterprise security credentials
Experience presenting security posture metrics and compliance progress to C-suite stakeholders
